DTF Transfers for Technicians and Trade Crews
HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, pest control, landscaping and general contracting companies use our custom DTF transfers to brand their crews. A uniformed tech at the door looks more trustworthy than one in a plain t-shirt, and a phone number on the back turns every job site into an ad.
There is no minimum order, so you can outfit one new hire or the whole fleet. Orders placed by 2 PM EST ship the same business day, and shipping is free on orders over $100.
Prints That Hold Up to Field Work
Work shirts get sweated in, scraped and washed hard. A properly pressed DTF transfer stays flexible and survives 50 or more washes without cracking or peeling. It bonds to cotton, polyester and blends, so the same logo works on cotton tees, moisture-wicking polos and hi-vis shirts.
For safety-color and performance polyester, use the lower press temperature listed below so the fabric doesn't scorch.
What Crews Usually Print
- Left-chest logo: about 3 to 4 inches wide on work tees and polos.
- Full back: logo, phone number and website at 11 to 12 inches wide, readable from the street.
- Technician names: each name on its own small transfer, all batched on one gang sheet.
- Jackets and hoodies: the same logo for cold-weather gear.
Three Ways to Order
Order DTF transfers by size when you have one design in one size. Stock sizes run from 2 x 2 to 12 x 16 inches. If you have several designs, names or sizes, the Gang Sheet Builder lets you arrange them on a single 22.5-inch-wide sheet and pay for the sheet rather than each piece. If your layout is already done, upload your own gang sheet as a print-ready file, up to 300 inches long. Not sure what size to pick? The DTF transfer size chart lists recommended widths for every common placement.
How to Press Them
Set your heat press to 315 to 325°F, press for 15 seconds with firm pressure, let the transfer cool and peel the film, then press again for 10 seconds. On polyester performance fabric or anything heat-sensitive, drop to 265 to 280°F for 20 seconds. A household iron can work for a small design in a pinch, but a heat press gives far more consistent results.
