Ready to press DTF transfers arrive at your door fully printed, powdered and cured. There is no printer to buy, no film to coat, no vinyl to weed and no screens to burn. You unpack the transfer, line it up on the garment, press it, and peel. That is the whole job.
What "Ready to Press" Actually Means
Some suppliers sell you the film, the ink and the powder and leave the printing to you. We do the printing. Every transfer we ship has already been printed on PET film with a white ink underbase, coated with hot melt adhesive powder and heat cured in our Atlanta facility. By the time it reaches you, the only equipment you need is a heat press, or a household iron for small designs.
That matters if you are decorating on demand. There is no warm-up, no colour mixing, no cleanup, and no wasted film from a failed print. Your first press of the day is as good as your hundredth.
Press It in Under a Minute
Press at 300 to 325°F for 10 to 15 seconds with medium-firm pressure. Peel cold, then re-press for 5 to 10 seconds with a finishing sheet. Applied that way, transfers survive 50+ wash cycles without cracking, peeling or fading. Full detail is in our application guide, and if you are unsure when to lift the film, see cold peel vs hot peel.
Three Ways to Order Ready to Press Transfers
Order transfers by size for individual designs with simple per-piece pricing from 2x2 inches up. Use the gang sheet builder to arrange several designs on one 22 inch wide sheet and bring your cost per transfer down. Already have a print-ready file? Upload your own gang sheet and we print it as supplied.
Pricing starts at $0.03 per square inch with no minimums and no setup fees, so a single transfer costs the same per inch as a full production run. Testing us for the first time? Start with the sample pack.
Order by 2 PM EST, Shipped the Same Day
Orders placed before 2 PM EST are printed and shipped the same business day from Atlanta, Georgia. Delivery speed after that is yours to choose at checkout, from UPS ground through to overnight. We ship nationwide across the United States. If you need transfers faster than a local shop can turn them around, see same-day DTF transfers or find your city on our DTF transfers near me page.
Any Fabric, Any Colour Garment
Ready to press transfers bond to cotton, polyester, cotton-poly blends, tri-blends, nylon, denim, canvas and leather, on light and dark garments alike, because every transfer carries a white underbase. Shirts, hoodies, hats, tote bags and koozies all press from the same transfer type. For tumblers, glass and other hard surfaces, use UV DTF transfers instead, which need no heat at all.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a DTF printer to use these?
No. That is the point of ready to press. Your transfers arrive printed, powdered and cured. All you supply is a heat press, or an iron for small designs.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimums and no setup fees. Order one transfer or several thousand at the same $0.03 per square inch.
How long can I store them before pressing?
Keep them flat, cool, dry and out of direct sunlight and they will stay press-ready for months. Our storage guide covers shelf life in detail.
Do they work on dark shirts?
Yes. Every transfer is printed with a white ink underbase, so colours stay bright and opaque on black and navy garments, not just white.
How are these different from HTV or screen printing?
There is no weeding as there is with vinyl, and no screens, colour limits or minimums as there are with screen printing. Full comparison in DTF vs screen printing.
