DTF Transfers for Clubs and Member Groups
Run clubs, car clubs, wine clubs, Greek chapters, alumni groups and hobby societies all have the same problem: they need matching shirts, but never in the quantities a screen printer wants. Our custom DTF transfers solve that. You send the club logo, we print it full color on film, and you press it onto whatever your members wear. There is no minimum order and no setup fee, so ten shirts cost the same per piece as a hundred.
Orders placed by 2 PM EST are printed and shipped the same business day, and shipping is free on orders over $100.
Why Clubs Use DTF Instead of Screen Printing
Clubs tend to order in small, uneven batches: member shirts in spring, an event hoodie in the fall, three more shirts when new members join. Screen printing charges for every screen and every color, so those small reorders get expensive fast. DTF has no screens. A detailed crest with a dozen colors costs the same to print as a one-color logo of the same size.
The print sits on a white underbase, so it shows up clearly on black, navy or bright garments, and it holds up through 50 or more washes when pressed correctly. That matters for shirts members actually wear to every meeting.
What Clubs Usually Print
- Member shirts: a left-chest logo at 3 to 4 inches wide, with the club name or a larger design on the back.
- Event and trip shirts: a one-off design for a regatta, rally, race, tasting or reunion, often with the date and location.
- Officer and volunteer gear: the same logo with a title or name added, which is easy to batch on one gang sheet.
- Merch to sell: hoodies, hats and totes that help fund the club.
Cotton, polyester, blends and fleece all work, so you can mix t-shirts, quarter-zips and hoodies in the same order.
Three Ways to Order
Order DTF transfers by size when you have one design in one size. Stock sizes run from 2 x 2 to 12 x 16 inches. If you have several designs, names or sizes, the Gang Sheet Builder lets you arrange them on a single 22.5-inch-wide sheet and pay for the sheet rather than each piece. If your layout is already done, upload your own gang sheet as a print-ready file, up to 300 inches long. Not sure what size to pick? The DTF transfer size chart lists recommended widths for every common placement.
How to Press Them
Set your heat press to 315 to 325°F, press for 15 seconds with firm pressure, let the transfer cool and peel the film, then press again for 10 seconds. On polyester performance fabric or anything heat-sensitive, drop to 265 to 280°F for 20 seconds. A household iron can work for a small design in a pinch, but a heat press gives far more consistent results.
