What Are UV DTF Transfers?
UV DTF printing uses UV-curable inks printed onto a two-layer film system. The ink is cured instantly under UV light, producing a raised, glossy, durable decal. Your transfer arrives as an "AB film" sandwich: peel away the backing (A film), apply the adhesive side to your surface, burnish it down, and slowly remove the top carrier (B film). The design stays behind, bonded permanently.
Surfaces UV DTF Works On
Stainless steel tumblers and water bottles, glass cups and candle jars, ceramic mugs, acrylic keychains and signs, metal, sealed wood, hard plastics, laptops, phone cases, and car windows. If the surface is smooth, clean, and rigid, UV DTF will bond to it. For fabric and apparel, use standard DTF transfers instead, which are designed to flex and stretch with the garment.
How to Apply
Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Peel the backing film, position your decal, and press it down firmly, rubbing out any air bubbles with a squeegee or credit card. Peel the top film back slowly at a sharp angle. Let the adhesive cure for 24 to 48 hours before exposing it to water for maximum bond strength.
