A shirt with a name, an inside joke or a family photo on it is the kind of gift people actually keep. Our custom DTF transfers let you make one at home: we print your design, you press it onto a shirt, hoodie, apron or tote. There is no minimum, so a single gift is fine.

Orders placed by 2 PM EST ship the same business day, which helps with last-minute birthdays and holidays. Shipping is free on orders over $100.

Gift Ideas

  • Birthdays and anniversaries: a name, date or photo.
  • Matching family sets: one design in adult, youth and toddler sizes. The DTF transfer size chart shows the right width for each.
  • Baby showers: onesies and parent shirts. See our baby shower guide.
  • Retirements and graduations: a keepsake shirt the whole group can sign.
  • Holiday gifts: a small run of the same design for everyone on the list.

Why DTF for Gifts

DTF prints full color, including photos and gradients, on a white underbase, so the design looks sharp on any shirt color. It stays flexible and survives 50 or more washes, so the gift doesn't fade after the first month. If you are making several different gifts, put them all on one gang sheet and pay for the sheet rather than each design.

Three Ways to Order

Order DTF transfers by size when you have one design in one size. Stock sizes run from 2 x 2 to 12 x 16 inches. If you have several designs, names or sizes, the Gang Sheet Builder lets you arrange them on a single 22.5-inch-wide sheet and pay for the sheet rather than each piece. If your layout is already done, upload your own gang sheet as a print-ready file, up to 300 inches long. Not sure what size to pick? The DTF transfer size chart lists recommended widths for every common placement.

How to Press Them

Set your heat press to 315 to 325°F, press for 15 seconds with firm pressure, let the transfer cool and peel the film, then press again for 10 seconds. On polyester performance fabric or anything heat-sensitive, drop to 265 to 280°F for 20 seconds. A household iron can work for a small design in a pinch, but a heat press gives far more consistent results.
